Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Fremont Hospital’s Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers comprehensive treatment for people who need immediate help to achieve stabilization. The programs are offered Monday through Friday with a standard attendance of three hours per day.

Intensive outpatient therapy teaches distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills and life skills in a supportive environment. Participants attend group therapy with other patients working on similar issues while continuing everyday activities in their homes and school. The goal of IOP is to give community members access to direct support in order to transition from inpatient treatment to a more independent lifestyle.

Please call 510-574-4851 to speak with our Outpatient Intake Coordinator.
