These mental health professionals assess an individual in crisis and arrange admission to the appropriate level of care. This confidential assessment and referral is free of charge.
Our intake department is staffed by RNs, LVNs and masters level clinicians. Based on the assessment, patients are referred to an appropriate level of care. Patients who are admitted to either Fremont’s inpatient or outpatient program will have their insurance pre-certifications coordinated through intake department staff.

Fremont Hospital provides services to patients and families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and as far north as Eureka County, to as far south as San Luis Obispo County.
