Teenage Inpatient Treatment at Fremont Hospital: Why Choose Us?
Adolescence is a time of significant physical and mental changes. Your teen is navigating complex social situations while juggling school and family life. All this can lead to mood disorders and challenging behaviors. But with the right support, your teen can learn how to manage these issues and thrive. At Fremont Hospital, we help teens recover from mental health issues so they can create a life they love.
Our adolescent inpatient program is for teens 12 to 17. They receive around-the-clock care for approximately 7 to 10 days.
Whether your teen is dealing with severe depression, anxiety or other mental health issues, we help put them on the road to recovery in a calm environment.

Mental Health Treatments We Provide
We use a range of treatments tailored to your child’s needs, including:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): This treatment helps your teen become aware of their thoughts and feelings so they can change unhelpful thought patterns. It’s also known as talk therapy or psychotherapy.
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT): A type of talk therapy, DBT helps your child accept the reality of their life and change behaviors that aren’t serving them. It also helps your child manage their emotions.
- Family therapy: This is an important part of the healing process. You and your child meet with a therapist to learn how to improve your relationship and resolve conflict in healthy ways.
- Activity-based therapy: This may include art, writing, movement and gardening. We also have a swimming pool that your child can use in the warmer months.
- Pet therapy: Trained therapy animals visit with our teens once a month.
