Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CDIOP)

Fremont’s Chemical Dependency Program is based upon the premise that chemical dependency is a physical, mental, social and spiritual illness. Patients participate in individual and group counseling sessions, sobriety-based recovery groups and ongoing education. Most participants attend treatment sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for three hours in the evening, for 10 to 16 weeks. During your participation in this program, you will be introduced to several types of treatment, including:

  • Biopsychosocial Model of Recovery
  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
  • Structured journaling
  • Family program
  • Support systems

Goals

We will work with you to achieve and obtain:

  • Sobriety decreased demoralization
  • Increased functioning
  • Life skills training
  • Improved coping skills
  • Post-acute withdrawal management
  • Relapse prevention planning skills

The program is Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
