Every child is different and has his/her own story as they experience many physical and emotional changes. When they are in crisis, life becomes overwhelming due to underlying depression, stress, trauma, abuse or family conflicts. They need a caring and skilled team to evaluate their mental and behavioral health needs.
Here at Fremont Hospital, we offer a range of programs, both inpatient and outpatient, designed to meet the needs of adolescents up to 17 years of age, with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems. These include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, severe disruptive behavior and suicide concerns.
We assist in developing effective coping skills and resiliency, along with strengthening their support network to help them successfully return back into their community.
The adolescent inpatient services at Fremont Hospital offer comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment of adolescents. To help younger patients, we need to understand them and the environments in which they live. Our goal is to build on their strengths, talents and abilities and to not focus solely on their difficulties. This allows us to work towards stabilizing our adolescent patients, better understand their needs and give them and their families the best chance at success when they leave our care.
