Fremont Hospital’s children’s program is for kids ages 6-11 who are experiencing acute symptoms related to mental illness, trauma, extreme conflict, and/or significant behavioral and developmental difficulties. Our program provides a supportive environment with around-the-clock care to stabilize the child’s symptoms. Our goal is to return the patient to their permanent family home or move them into a lower level of care with service providers near school and family connections.
